Read more about Ray Owens at: Wikipedia Official Site: Lionsgate The Last Stand is an upcoming action film written by Andrew Knauer and directed by Kim Ji-woon. The film will be Arnold Schwarzenegger's first leading role since Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines in 2003. This will be the first American production for Kim Ji-woon and cinematographer Kim Ji-yong as well as composer Mowg. Sheriff Ray Owens is a man who has resigned himself to a life of fighting what little crime takes place in sleepy border town Sommerton Junction after leaving his LAPD post following a bungled operation that left him wracked with failure and defeat after his partner was crippled. After a spectacular escape from an FBI prisoner convoy, Gabriel Cortez, the most notorious, wanted drug kingpin in the hemisphere is hurtling toward the border at 200 mph in a specially outfitted car, a Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1, with a hostage and a fierce army of gang members. He is headed, it turns out, straight for Summerton Junction, where the whole of U.S. law enforcement will have their last opportunity to make a stand and intercept him before he slips across the border forever. At first reluctant to become involved, and then counted out because of the perceived ineptitude of his small town force, Owens ultimately accepts responsibility for the face off. Filming started on October 17, 2011 in Belen, New Mexico and Nevada. On December 17, 2011 shooting of the film was briefly interrupted, but on January 3, 2012 it continued. The processing ended February 2, 2012 and the subsequent post-production continued in Los Angeles. The theatrical trailer premiered with The Expendables 2 and has been available online since August 2012. The film's release date is set for January 18th, 2013. The film has received mixed to positive reviews from critics. It currently holds a 62% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 39 reviews with the consensus stating: "There's nothing particularly distinguished about it, but for Schwarzenegger fans, The Last Stand provides perfectly undemanding entertainment."
Ray Owens has not been a contender in any CBUB matches.
